# Introduction
Hera Laundry is an advanced electronic control which consists of:
a CPU or frontal panel, which gets mounted on the front of your washing machines and provides an interface for your operators to work on. The CPU assolves many pivotal functions for the well-being and smooth-functioning of the overall system: it guides the user, it takes the user input back and turns it into a series of computed and dynamic instructions that are used in a stream of constant communication going back and forth between itself and the I/O board. Moreover, it elaborates on the messages received and shows precise information to the user through the generous 7" display. Alongside all of this, the CPU contains all the logic required for different kinds of communication, including the bluetooth-based and internet-based syncing of data.
an I/O board, available in two versions, that is mounted on the inside of the washing machines and gets connected to all the electrovalves and parts that need to be managed and used within a wash process.
a temperature sensor that is connected to the I/O board and provides useful information on the temperature level registered within the drum at all times during a wash.
Here's the order in which we suggest you proceed with the setup after having carefully read the docs:
- Installation of the I/O and temperature sensor
- Installation of the CPU and language selection
- Setting up system parameters and exiting factory mode
ATTENTION
Please make sure you exit factory mode after setting up the system parameters. Machines should never be sent out to field in factory mode.
After you have completed these three mandatory steps, you are ready to operate washes.
In the next sections, we'll expore in detail everything that was mentioned in this introduction. Should you have any extra question, feel free to reach out to us.
Enjoy!
